Our prices are in Canadian Funds, we offer a currency converter on our site, but cannot guarantee that the exchange rate will be maintained throughout your order process.
Our prices are subject to change at any time.
If you have fabric or materials to send to us, please be aware that customs charges and duty fees will be applied to your order total. Please contact us to arrange shipment of fabric swatches.
Deposit Payments
Deposit payments allow you to pay in instalments with no additional charge to you. You will accrue no additional fees for the use of the deposit payment service, so long as they are paid within a week of the due dates. Payments can be made ahead of time, but if payments are made later than one week (7 calendar days) past the payment date described in your chosen payment plan, there will be a 5% additional late fee. If you choose to cancel your order for a Ready To Wear corset, Clothing, or Class, there will be a 10% total cost fee for reserving materials and restocking, before funds are refunded to you.
Class payments must be paid in full before the start date of your class. If you cannot complete payment before your chosen class date, we can push it forward to the next available class. You can also bring the payment to the class if you cannot pay it online. You may cancel within one week of your scheduled class time with a full refund, but if it is within one week (7 calendar days), your class payment will be pushed to the next available class time, and a space will be reserved for you.

~Bespoke corsets:
All bespoke corset orders must be prepaid by PayPal, Visa, Master Card, or EMT.
A minimum 30% non refundable deposit is required for your bespoke corset at the time of ordering via our website. This covers the design process, booking our time, sourcing your fabrics, drafting your pattern and creating and shipping your mock-up. If you wish to continue your order once you have approved your mock-up, we require that 50% of your total be paid at this time (if you paid 30% deposit, you will owe another 20% at this point, if you paid 50% in the beginning, then this payment is unnecessary) . The remaining 50% of your order is due when you have approved all final photos and we are ready to ship your corset. You can pay the balance by PayPal, Credit Card or E-transfer. We accept Visa & Mastercaed by phone, or we can send you a PayPal invoice.
There may be price adjustments once your order details have been verified. We will confirm that with you during the process.
Your Full balance must be received before we ship your order, or within 8 weeks of our agreed upon completion date. You can pay the remaining balance at any time through PayPal, or by phone with a credit card. Orders that are not paid in full after 8 weeks after the agreed upon completion date risk losing the deposit and order.
For corsets completed, but not paid for in full, we charge an additional 10% after 5 weeks if they have not been paid for in full and collected. If after 8 weeks, we have not heard from a client after making all reasonable attempts to contact the client to arrange the completed corset pick up, the corset and or gown are considered abandoned, and become the property of Starkers Corsetry.

~Ready To Wear Corsets & Undressed Lingerie
All Ready To Wear corsets and Undressed Lingerie items must be paid for in full before shipping, and full balance of them must be received within 5 business days, or your order will be cancelled.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are redeemable in person and online. They do not expire, unless it was for a short term promotion. Gift cards can be used for anything in our store. All items are custom made to measure and therefore will be final sale (bras may be exchanged for size only, and ready to wear corsets can be exchanged for size only).
RETURNS
~Bespoke corsets, corset gowns and clothing
Please be sure to provide us with your accurate measurements and information. We will verify measurements with you if something looks unusual.
All sales are final on bespoke custom corsets, corset gowns, and clothing. These are made from scratch to the clients specifications, and cannot be re-stocked, or re-sold.
The initial 30%-50% deposit covers the design process, patterns, mock up creation and shipping, and sourcing your fabric and materials, and cannot be refunded. Approval of the mock up and final photos of the completed garment occur before the final 50% is paid, and is also non-refundable, as the corset is made to the clients specifications and cannot be re-stocked or re-sold.
A reservation deposit is only refundable within three days of our initial design meeting. If the client is unhappy with the design, or we are unable to meet design expectations, we will happily refund you the deposit within the three days of the design meeting, minus $50 for the sketch fee (if a sketch was provided). During the design meeting, we will confirm the clients wish to continue the order, and subsequent payments.

~Ready To Wear Corsets
Ready to wear Victorian Underbust corsets are returnable for 100% of the cost, minus return shipping costs. They must be returned within 7 business days, with tracking number. Must be returned in original like-new condition. Corsets damaged, marked, smelling of perfume, as well as items that have obviously been worn longer than sizing, are not returnable.
~Undressed Lingerie
Bras can be exchanged for size only, provided they are unworn, undamaged, and returned to us within 10 business days. Please contact us ahead of time if you require a return as we can be sure to have your exchanged size ready. If we receive your bra, and it shows signs of wear, you will be charged the full amount for the exchange size.After your order is received and your pattern has been drafted, we cannot return your deposit. Panties and thongs are non-returnable.
BRIDAL & EVENT
A deposit of $300 can reserve your bridal order space (we do have limited spaces for bespoke bridal every year), but 1/3 of your total is required to begin your order. This covers the design process, patterns, mock up creation and shipping, and sourcing your fabric and materials.
The next 1/3 is paid when you have approved your mock up and wish to continue to the final product. You are under no obligation to continue your order, after you receive your mock up and swatches, however, the first 1/3 deposit is non-refundable.
Once you approve the photos of your final product and it is ready to ship, the final balance is required before we ship. The total for any additional extras, and the adjusted balance will be discussed with you as they are added.
Once we receive your final payment, your order is shipped via UPS with a tracking number, and properly listed value for insurance purposes.
Please allow a minimum of 4 months before your wedding or event to order your corset or gown. This gives us time to be sure that everything fits in time for the event, with plenty of time in case alterations are needed. In Toronto, we would like to see you for a minimum of one fitting, but there may be more. Fittings are included in your purchase price, and will not be charged separately. If you are unable to come to Toronto, fabric swatches and mock ups of your corset and sometimes skirt are included in the price of your bespoke wedding gown, so be sure that attention is paid to measuring for your corset and skirt, and the mock up instructions. We will alter or the dress at our cost if we have made a measurement error, or fabric error. If the corset matches the fit of the approved mock up, and further alterations are needed (ie: care was not taken in fitting the mock up, or weight had been gained or lost without mentioning it to us) the alterations, or replacement will be at the purchasers expense. Once sketches, fabrics, and mockups are approved, refunds are not given. Approving the style for your body type is your responsibility. While all custom bridal and event sales are final, and refunds are not given under any circumstance, we will do everything we can to be sure that you are happy with your dress and everything fits in time for your wedding or event.

SHIPPING
Please allow 8-10 weeks for a regular corset order, or 12-16 weeks for bridal, unless we have arranged a different time line (rush order, or long lay-away) , as it’s a custom made to measure garment we require time to create this for you.
We ship by UPS unless otherwise requested within North America for corsets, and Canada Post USPS for our Undressed line.
Shipping overseas can take upwards of 6 weeks in transit, on top of the 6-8 weeks it takes to complete your bespoke corset.
We are not responsible for duty, brokerage or customs charges. Please check with UPS for an estimate.
We can only guarantee the postage time calculated by the carrier and we are not responsible for items taking longer than our postal carrier guarantees.
We are not responsible for items that are delayed in customs, or damaged in transportation.
